Two Keswick locals were biking in Whinlatter forest when one crashed causing a potential neck injury. The other called for help whilst doing all he could to keep the casualty warm. A Keswick MRT vehicle was quickly on scene and able to park next to the injured party. After the team medics had completed various checks he was carefully placed in a vacuum mattress and stretchered to an ambulance for onward transport to Carlisle hospital.
