A woman walking on the path above Rosthwaite fell and twisted her knee leaving her unable to bear weight and continue any further. Her companions rang Mountain Rescue who quickly arrived on scene to assess her injury. While no treatment was given on scene it was advised that she visit the Keswick Hospital for further assessment. As she was only a short distance from her accommodation the Team was able to stretcher her to her own vehicle for onward transport to the hospital.
