A woman slipped injuring her ankle, however whilst trying to stabilise herself she injured, possibly fractured, her other ankle. The team attended, provided pain relief and splinted both ankles, but with the prospect of a long stretcher carry helicopter assistance was requested. Thankfully Helimed 08 from NWAA was available and airlifted the woman to Carlisle hospital.
