A group of walkers came across a man who had collapsed and was unresponsive on the summit ridge of Skiddaw. The group immediately commenced CPR whilst calling the emergency services. Helimed 58 quickly deployed and landed nearby whilst Keswick MRT ascended from Dodd Wood. Despite the best efforts of all involved nothing could be done to save the man.
