A bit out of the ordinary for Keswick MRT but a walker found what he believed was an hand grenade on the side of Catbells. He called the police who then dispatched two officers. Keswick team were asked to escort the officers to the location given. Details of the object were recorded by the police who then passed the information on to the relevant authorities who subsequently dealt with the matter.

As a side note, and in the line of duty, the officers managed to claim Catbells as their first Wainright.
