Whilst out walking on this bank holiday Monday a walker went over on her ankle close to the summit of Bleaberry Fell. The team was notified that the walker was unable to weight-bear and that there was heavy swelling to the ankle. The team deployed two vehicles anticipating a stretcher carry. Upon reaching the casualty the team assessed the ankle providing pain relief and splinting before stretchering the casualty off the hill.
