The team was alerted by Cumbria Police to an incident on the flanks of High Rigg above the St John in Vale Youth Centre. A women had dislocated her knee replacement whilst descending from the fell back to her car. The casualties friend descended to the Youth Centre below to summon help. Whilst the team were deploying the informant; a visiting leader staying at the youth centre made the casualty as comfortable as possible. On arrival the team assessed the casualty, providing analgesia and splinting the limb. The casualty was transported off the fell and handed over to paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service.
