The team received a report of a 22 year old who had fallen whilst descending from Scafell Pike towards Seathwaite. With little information to go on attempts were made, without success, to contact the informant, who according to the grid reference provided was at Seathwaite Farm. A team vehicle was deployed to find the informant and gather detail on the casualty location and nature of injuries etc. However the informant could not be found. After a brief wait we received news from the ambulance service that the casualty was uninjured and on the move back to Seathwaite. After confirming our support was not required the team stood down and returned to base.
