An informant came across a 64-year-old male on the Styhead path, just above Stockley Bridge. The casualty was experiencing chest pains and was described as breathing but largely unresponsive. The team deployed immediately in two vehicles. GNAAS Helimed 58 also attended, arriving on scene ahead of the team where they began assessment and treatment.

Team members carried the casualty to the helicopter for onward transport to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle. We wish the gentleman a swift recovery.
