The team was called to assist a group descending Great Gable after a hiker became immobile with severe cramp. A rescue party deployed with a stretcher, while the group was encouraged via phone to keep moving toward Windy Gap.

The team intercepted the walkers on Moses Trod. After a medical assessment, the casualty managed to walk to Honister with assistance. The group was then transported off the fell by Land Rover.
