On the descent from Dock Tarn a woman slipped on a rough section of path alarmingly close to a large drop into a steep sided gill. The fall resulted in a painful ankle injury. Keswick team provided various analgesia from, in her words, the “nice doctor”, then splinted the ankle, and stretchered the woman to an awaiting ambulance at Stonethwaite village.
