Two walkers and their dog became crag fast on steep ground whilst descending Base Brown above Seathwaite. Initially the emergency call was allocated by the police to Wasdale MRT but was subsequently passed on to Keswick as it was in our patch.

A small team was dispatched and they quickly made progress to the stranded walkers and helped them to safe ground.
