A group was ascending Beckstones Gill on the side of Barf, when one of the the party experienced a supraventricular tachycardia attack which manifests itself as an extremely high heart rate. As a result the walker was unable to continue. By the time Keswick MRT arrived at the scene the heart rate had reduced and after a check over by the team doctor the casualty was able to walk accompanied down to the road.
