Keswick team sent some team members in support of Penrith MRT with a male walker who slipped and injured his ankle whilst descending Blease Fell on Blencathra. By the time Keswick team members arrived on scene Penrith team had already done a medical assessment and splinted his ankle before loading loading him onto their stretcher. The man was sledged and carried down to the road where members of his party collected him for onward transfer to hospital.
