Exactly 24 hours after the previous Sharp Edge call-out, the team was alerted to a group of eight individuals reportedly stranded in the same area.

Initial efforts to pinpoint their location were hampered by communication difficulties; however, early reports suggested they had reached the plateau but were disoriented and unable to locate the descent. After the group successfully responded to a “PhoneFind” request, their actual location was confirmed as the main summit ridge of Blencathra, rather than Sharp Edge itself.

The group was instructed to head southwest along the crag top toward Blease Fell. Team members met them there and escorted them safely down the mountain.
