Reports were received of a woman having heart palpitations at Scales Tarn on Blencathra. Keswick MRT and Helimed 08 deployed with 08 able to land near to the casualty. The woman’s condition had fortunately stabilised and after some checking from the aircraft paramedics the woman was airlifted to the base of the mountain from where she would make her own way home for further checks by her GP.
