Two men called for assistance after becoming benighted on Blencathra after starting their walk at 19.15. They did not have torches and as darkness and mist descended they could not find their way off the fell. Team members made their way up from Thelkeld, and with the help of  ‘phone find’ technology, they successfully made contact with the two men who were then escorted down, and provided a lift back to their car.
