As the previous incident was wrapping up we received another call about a woman at Brandlehow, below Catbells, who had a suspected broken ankle. The team vehicle made its way from Whinlatter to Brandlehow and found the woman a short distance below the road. The ankle was splinted and she was quickly stretchered up to the road. The woman was transported to the cottage hospital in Keswick for transfer to a land ambulance.
