Cockermouth MRT, who were low on numbers, requested support for a man who had slipped on wet rock and broken his ankle near Buttermere lake. Cockermouth had splinted and provided pain relief by the time Keswick arrived and so we only had to provide some muscle for the stretcher carry to the awaiting ambulance in Buttermere village.

A big thanks to Cockermouth who treated us to excellent coffee and sandwiches at the Bridge Hotel.
