Cam Crag Ridge (105)

A group 4 males were scrambling on Cam Crag ridge when one of the party slipped 3 to 4 metres sustaining an injury to his lower leg. One of the group climbed to the top of Cam Crag to get a mobile signal and requested assistance. They had an emergency shelter to protect the injured man against the elements on what was a cold, wet and windy day. The first Keswick MRT members arrived at the scene and due to the location and nature of the injury requested a helicopter evacuation. The casualty was then packaged and flown to the Cumberland Infirmary.
