As team members were gathering to attend incident 136 a passer by ran into the rescue base to inform us of a collapsed male at the edge of Cockshot Wood. A number of team members rushed to the scene where a team doctor was able to do an initial assessment on the normally fit and healthy 77 year old man. The casualty was warmed, ‘packaged’ and loaded onto a stretcher for a short carry to the lakeside and an awaiting ambulance. Team members then went to help out with incident 136.
