Keswick were called by the Penrith team to assist in a search for a missing fell runner who had set off on a planned long run on the morning of the 31/12/23 and had not returned. Many local teams were involved in the search including local dog teams and teams from away. Keswick were assigned an area to the north of Littledale over Moray Hill and Wildboar Scar, reaching Crowdundle Head before being stood down when the missing person was found. Tragically nothing could be done to save the man. Our deepest condolences go to the family and friends.
