A female fellwalker slipped on a wet path near Fisherplace Gill above the north end of Thirlmere and suffered an ankle injury. The team attended and administered analgesia before stretchering her from the hill. As there was no ambulance available the casualty was transported to Keswick Hospital to await transport to Carlisle for x-ray.
