A  family of four were walking up to the Thirlmere infinity pools. Unfortunately, whilst checking the route ahead, the Father slipped and hurt his ankle, unable to weight bear. When the team arrived on scene, his ankle was assessed, splinted and pain relief given. The casualty was stretchered down to the roadside where he was taken by his family to hospital for further assessment.
