A daughter and her mother had been walking on the Helvellyn ridge that day and had taken longer than expected to complete their walk. As it became dark, they got lost and cold and wet but fortunately had good phone signal. The team used SARLOC to locate them which put them on Great Dodd. A small team went out to find them which they did quickly then walked them down Sticks Pass to the team vehicle and then drove them to their car at Swirls.
