Hall’s Fell, Blencathra (94)

Having ascended Sharp Edge on Blencathra a father and daughter were making their way down Hall’s Fell when the father had a fall and injured his knee. The daughter then tried to support him on the descent but unfortunately both slipped and fell around 20 feet. The father suffered a minor head injury and felt unable to continue walking. The daughter was not injured. On arrival Keswick team splinted the leg injury and stretchered the man down to their vehicle. He was advised to seek further medical checks.
