The second call out of the day was for a woman in her 60s who turned an ankle whilst walking the path between Hawse End and Lingholm, near to Derwent Water. The injury prevented her walking any further so she and her partner made the call for help. The Keswick MRT Land Rover was able to get near to her position, and after strapping the ankle, she was taken to the Keswick Cottage Hospital for further checks and treatment.
