A slip on a frozen path led to a probable broken ankle. Keswick team provided pain relief, splinted the ankle, and stretchered the casualty a short distance to her partner’s vehicle for onward transfer to hospital.

Many thanks to the staff of the Hawse End Centre for providing insulation and a shelter whilst awaiting for the teams arrival.
