A couple waking near the summit of High Seat called for assistance when one of the couple injured their ankle and could not continue. With Keswick team short on numbers Cockermouth MRT were asked if they could provide support which they duly did with a team of six. The walker was given pain relief and her ankle splinted before she was sledged & carried down to their vehicle. The casualty’s friend then transported her to hospital for further checks and treatment.
