After some early morning rain and with mist on the tops we received a report of a young couple who had become crag fast on a slippery Sharp Edge, after one of them had a panic attack when the mist descended. Whilst the team were deploying from Mousthwaite Comb a team member who happened to be on nearby Bannerdale Crags went over to investigate. He quickly located couple who were now on safe ground. However another well intentioned walker who went to help the couple slipped a short distance and ended up on some tricky ground. Thankfully he was uninjured. Our team member managed to guide him to safety and once the group were assembled they were walked off the edge to enjoy the rest of the day in what turned out to be glorious sunshine.
