A couple were jogging down from the summit of Skiddaw when one tripped and took a heavy fall onto their leg. Unable to continue they called for assistance. Once the team arrived some pain relief was provided and the casualty was stretchered down to the car park. The couple then made their own way to hospital for further checks.
