Stockley Bridge (24)

The third call-out of a frantic afternoon involved a man descending the path from Styhead toward Seathwaite. He had aggravated a previous injury, resulting in a suspected dislocated patella. Team members from the Sharp Edge deployment were immediately re-tasked to the scene, along with additional members diverted from the almost concluded Newlands incident. The team met the casualty and his girlfriend below Stockley Bridge and although in pain, he was still mobile. Team members assisted the man on the walk back down to Seathwaite Farm, from where his girlfriend transported him to hospital for further treatment.

This concluded a demanding day for the team, following the Sharp Edge and Newlands incidents earlier that afternoon.
