A simple slip during a ghyll scramble resulted in a painful ankle break. The instructors requested Keswick MRT support and after strong pain relief the casualty ankle was splinted. She was then placed on a stretcher and hauled out of the ghyll to eventually meet an ambulance for onward transfer to hospital.
