Swirls, Helvellyn (7)

A couple descending Helvellyn were a few hundred metres from Swirls car park when one slipped and injured her ankle. Keswick team had already assembled at Base after being stood down for another rescue so were quickly on scene. After pain relief and splinting the casualty was stretchered a short distance to their car and onward to hospital for an x-ray and further treatment.
