A couple were descending back to Seathwaite farm after summiting Scafell Pike when they became benighted.  Approaching steep and slippery ground near Taylorgill, and now in the dark, one of the couple began to suffer a panic attack. A small team was quickly dispatched to their location where they assisted the pair, with a rope, back up the path, across the gill and onto the main path down. Back at the farm, and without injuries, they were able to drive themselves back to their accommodation.
