A father and daughter had scrambled up Cat Gill, the gully to the south of Walla Crag, and were en route towards Bleaberry Fell when the man collapsed and fell unconscious. Due to the urgent nature of the incident GNAAS Helimed 58 lifted whilst Keswick team gathered and made their way up to the back of Walla Crag. On arrival the Air Ambulance paramedic found the man had fortunately recovered and was now conscious and talking. The man was given a medical assessment before being put on a stretcher for a carry up to the helicopter from where he was flown to Crow Park in Keswick to meet an ambulance for onward transfer to Carlisle Infirmary.
