A 13 year old mountain biker took a tumble whilst flying over a jump on the south red trail in Whinlatter Forest. In what is becoming known as ‘the usual place’ and even with the presence of danger warning signs the young man parted company with his bike and landed face first in the dirt. Thanks to the passers by who went to his assistance until the team arrived. Team members including a team medic examined and treated the unlucky casualty at the scene before transporting him to the car park from where he was taken to hospital by his parents for a thorough check up.
