Woden’s Face, Borrowdale (48)

As teams were returning to base from the previous incident it was reported that a climber had fallen approx. 5m at Woden’s Face near the Bowderstone suffering chest and wrist injuries. Vehicles from Keswick and Penrith MRTs were diverted to help NWAS paramedics who were on scene, with other team members going direct. Strong analgesia was provided to the casualty prior to a wrist reduction (re-alignment). The man was then stretchered to a nearby ambulance.
