After de-rigging from a group climbing session an instructor slipped on loose ground whilst descending down the side of Wodens face near the Bowderstone. The man fell awkwardly and ended up on his bent back ankle hearing a ‘pop.’ On arrival Keswick team members assessed the man’s injuries, analgesia was administered and a short stretcher carry took him back to their own vehicle to be taken to hospital for an x-ray.
