A woman was reported to have fallen off a path and 7 to 8 metres down a steep vegetated bank towards St John’s Beck. The fire service together with a passing Keswick team member were first on scene and together managed to secure the woman preventing her falling further. Helimed 58 also attended but when it became apparent that the woman was not seriously injured were stood down. In the meantime Keswick team rigged a rope system to haul the woman back to the path. After a check over the casualty was able to walk back to her vehicle and to her very relieved friends.
