A party of four walkers were descending the tricky rocky section on Hall’s Fell Ridge, about 200m below the summit of Blencathra, when one of the party became very anxious about the exposure. Uninjured but unable to move, the group made the call requesting assistance. A team vehicle was dispatched and team members made their way up the ridge, located the group and guided them down past the main difficulties.
