A couple had walked over Skiddaw and were descending Bakestall Edge, on the north side of Skiddaw, when one of the party slipped and injured her ankle. Unable to continue assistance was requested. Keswick Team dispatched two Land Rovers to the top of White Water Dash (Dash Falls) where only a short ascent was required to meet up with the casualty. She was stretchered down to one of the vehicles and taken to Keswick Cottage Hospital for further checks.
