A family group were near to the summit of Skiddaw when one slipped and suffered a possible collar bone fracture as well as an injured lower leg. With the aid of some passing walkers they managed to help the casualty down to the Dodd Wood forest track where Keswick team were able to assess the injured person and drive her to their car for onward transfer to hospital.
