A 12 year old boy took a tumble descending Seat Sandal towards Grisedale Tarn injuring his leg. After an inter-team discussion between Keswick and Langdale/Ambleside MRTs about whose side of the border the casualty was, LAMRT won but asked if Keswick could send a small team to help with the stretcher carry. As Keswick team arrived at the location the casualty had already been assessed and treated by a LAMRT doctor and was tucked up nice and warm on a stretcher. As we started to descend we got word that an air ambulance was on the way so we diverted to a flat area and waited. The casualty was duly loaded onto the helicopter for onward transport to hospital.
