A man traversing Sharp Edge on Blencathra became stuck because of the steep terrain. Attempts to contact the walker by phone were unsuccessful. A small team set off to locate the man but shortly after leaving the vehicle information was received from the Police that he had been helped off by other walkers and was now reunited with his companions. The team returned without having seen the man. Many thanks to the helpful passers by.
