A 60 year old enjoying a birthday walk slipped and heard an ominous crack as she went over on her ankle. Unable to weight bear her accompanying husband and daughter called for help. Keswick team provided pain relief, splinted the ankle, and stretchered her to the road where her family transported her to hospital for further treatment.
