An over-ambitious young man became crag-fast whilst scrambling on the steep slopes of Base Brown above Taylorgill Force in Borrowdale. Despite being correctly dressed for a scramble on this showery day the ground became intimidatingly steep without an obvious safe escape route leading him to call for a rescue. The team climbed up the side of the rocky rib and with much shouting and the use of a drone located the uninjured man. The steep ground was then descended using a confidence rope on the casualty, down to the main path and back to the vehicles.
