A 16 year old girl walking with her family injured her knee whilst descending the track underneath Bannerdale Crags near Mungrisdale. With many of Keswick team committed to another call-out the Penrith MR team kindly offered to support the rescue along with a couple of Keswick team members. After an assessment the girls leg was splinted to reduce movement and she was stretchered to team vehicles. She was then taken to hospital by her family.
