The team received a call regarding a walker near Catgill who had suffered a severe and deep laceration to his knee after a fall. As Keswick were short on numbers, assistance was requested from RAF Leeming MRT, who were training in the area.

By the time the teams arrived at the car park, the casualty had managed to make his own way down and met the team in Great Wood car park. After checking the injury and applying a bandage, he was given a lift to meet his partner, who provided onward transport to hospital for further treatment.
