A man in his seventies unluckily put his foot in a deep rut and rolled his knee hearing a popping sound and exacerbating an old injury. Being unable to weight bear he called for help. The team drove Land Rovers to the top of Whitewater Dash and approached the casualty via Birkett Edge. The man’s knee was splinted and he was then stretchered down to the vehicles from where he was transported to Peter house Farm to meet an Ambulance.
